The Canadian government wants to make this possible for Canadians under its Family Class Sponsorship program. Because the Canadian government is so dedicated to maintaining intact families, these programs are regarded as some of the most generous in the entire world.
Family Class Sponsorship is available for a variety of partnerships, including those between spouses, common-law partners, parents, grandparents, and dependent children.

Spousal Sponsorship
A spouse or common-law partner may be sponsored through this program by a Canadian citizen or permanent resident in order to obtain permanent residence in Canada.
For the foreign national to be granted a visa, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) must grant approval to both the "sponsor" (a Canadian citizen or permanent resident) and the "sponsored person."
Both parties must demonstrate that their connection fits into one of the three categories of spouse, common-law partner, or conjugal partner in order to be eligible for a visa through this program.
Please note: same-sex marriage is recognized in Canada, therefore provided they meet all requirements, same-sex couples may be able to apply under the above three categories, provided they meet all eligibility requirements. We welcome same-sex applicants as our clients

Introduction To: Child Of Other Dependent Sponsorship
Canadian citizens and permanent residents are eligible to sponsor their spouses, common-law partners, parents, grandparents, and dependent children through the Family Class. The Canadian government is steadfast in its desire to preserve intact families whenever possible. As a result, Canadian Visa Offices give processing Family Class applications a high priority.
The Dependent Child Sponsorship Program
Dependent children, whether biological or adopted, can become permanent residents of Canada and be sponsored to live with their parents under a division of the Family Class of Immigration known as the Child Sponsorship Program (s).
For the child abroad to be granted a Visa, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) must grant approval to both the "sponsor" (a Canadian citizen or permanent resident) and the "sponsored person" (the child abroad).
Both parties must demonstrate their relationship to one another in order to be eligible for a Visa under this scheme. The child may start to be sponsored before the adoption is finalized if the individual's adoption processes are in the final stages of processing

Two programs may be used to allow Canadian citizens/permanent residents to bring their parents and grandparents to Canada: Family Class sponsorship and/or the Super Visa program.
Introduction To : Parent And Grandparent Program (PGP)
Canadian citizens/permanent residents who want to use this program are first required to complete an online form on the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website, to register an interest in bring their parent(s) or grandparent(s) to Canada
It should be noted that submitting an Interest to Sponsor form is not an application, but the important first step for using this program. Candidates who are invited to apply have 60 days from the date of invitation to submit a complete application and all the supporting documents.

The Parent and Grandparent Super Visa
With this visa, parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents are able to visit the country for up to two years in a row without having to reapply for status. Re-entry is permitted during the duration of this visa's validity, which is up to ten years. It permits lengthy visits by older family generations to Canada without the benefit of workers' rights.
Who Can Apply for the Super Visa?
The Super Visa may be applied for by parents or grandparents of Canadian citizens and permanent residents. The candidates must meet any requirements outlined by the visa office through which they will be applying, and they cannot be denied entry to Canada due to security or health concerns.
It is significant to remember that this application cannot include any dependents. Only parents or grandparents and their spouses or common-law partners may be listed on a Super Visa application.
